Self care when you have a migraine
Dr. Heidi’s Wellness Wednesday tip of the day. When you wake up with a migraine you need to reflect on WHY. ✔️skipped dinner ✔️didn’t drink enough water all day ✔️stayed up too late ✔️zero self care yesterday. But now that’s it’s here what can I do? #radicalselfcare tips: ✅Chiropractic adjustment ✅water ✅rest ✅dark, quiet room ✅Block the light ✅ice pack on neck and head ✅deep relief oil and peppermint oil on neck and temples ✅diffuser going with peppermint and rosemary ✅ deep breathing for lots of oxygen to the brain ✅vitamin B ✅mediate/pray quietly. This eye mask has enough space for me to open my eyes so it doesn’t smoosh the lashes or feel claustrophobic. One hour, good as new! #aintgottimeforthat
