Kids' appetites can be tricky. Some kids are soooo picky that they refuse to even look at certain foods. Research shows us that it takes an average of 10 tries of a new food before a child might eat it. That is alot of repeated exposures to something before your kiddo may FINALLY try something. Don't give up! Just keep trying and offering them healthy choices. Let them see YOU eating good choices too. I KNOW it's hard.
At my house we make silly games with our food. I try to involve the kids as much as possible in food selection and Prep. Here was "red day breakfast". We only ate food that was red. It gave us the chance to talk about what other foods are red. We even joked about gross red foods like raw meat and how that would affect our bodies. What are your kids' food challenges?
