Mama needs a locket of love

Short on time? Give mom a diffuser necklace she can add her oils to. It’s a locket that pops open and you can apply a few drops to a swatch of wool or leather and the scent lingers for days. Easy, peasy! Wanna take it another level? Add solid perfume to the locket and she can swipe it on her skin anytime she chooses. I promise you will be her favorite kid!

​WHAT YOU NEED:

• 1 1/2 teaspoons sweet almond, coconut, or jojoba oil
• 1 teaspoon beeswax pellets
• 10 drops of desired essential oil
• An empty locket or diffuser necklace

grab a shot glass and place it into a pot filled with at least 1 inch of water. This creates a cheap double boiler effect. Add the chosen oil and beeswax. Melt over medium heat stirring with a chopstick until liquified. Let cool slightly then add drops of essential oil and pour into the locket. Allow to cool and solidify at least an hour. All you have to do is swipe your finger over the melted mix and the warmth will soften it enough to apply to your skin. Or just choose to lift the locket to your nose when you need a sniff of heaven.
