Leaning into NO

I’m fighting with myself to have more boundaries. To sit with the feeling when I have to tell someone NO. I want to save the world and have struggled for YEARS putting my own needs in front of others.

My coworkers put this sign on my desk. A constant reminder to have many ways to kindly say NO. It made me snort laugh at first but has actually come in pretty handy. And thankfully these gals are fiercely protective of me and remind me to do basic survival skills like eat, drink and pee.

Some days are hard but I’m doing pretty well leaning into the voice inside begging me to care for my own needs. Being present over perfect.
