Hair Critters

Hair critters?????
This is the time of the year for critters in the hair at school. YUCK! Nobody wants that. It is considered a public health nuisance instead of a communicable disease so the public school system cannot force kids to stay home from school because of it. That means you never know where you might "catch" them. Those critters start out as white sticky dandruff looking things on the hair shaft. Then before you know it if you look closely enough it seems there is a fruitfly looking friend living in your nest. We had them visit our house last year. I swear it was after visiting the movie theater. About a week later the kids were all really itching their heads and BOOM. So now I protect their precious locks with a homemade shoo fly spray. So far so good and takes me like 30 seconds to shake it and spritz on their heads before leaving for school.
