#uncluttered2020 challenge continues in the dining room. My dining room is rarely used for actual dining!! It it used for collecting mail, junk, coats and random scraps of paper. Basically useless clutter that is never ending. Such a terrible eyesore. 💩💩 I will have to break patterns of placing our stuff here. It is cleaned up now BUT it’s the actual pattern of walking in the house and dumping junk here that needs to be addressed. 🤯 Let’s talk about breaking bad habits for a sec. The area of the brain where many habits are formed, called the basal ganglia, remembers pathways that nerves fire on. This is one reason why habits can be so difficult to break: even after years, a trigger will set a broken habit pattern into motion. So......create new pathways in the brain and make a new healthier habit by using your oils. When you are trying to break a bad habit sniff your fav oil for 30 seconds while you visualize setting a new pattern of activity in motion. It will help!!🌈🌈🌈 By the way...how’s the decluttering going in YOUR house?! Before and after. My house is a loft open floor plan so with everything in one big room I have one corner as a dining area. The trick will be keeping this clean and not just falling into old habits of walking in the door and dropping the junk here in the table. If it is clean we might actually eat there!
