BOO🎃🎃🎃Happy Halloween!! Do kids *really* need more candy?? Of course not, none of us do. It's just that it's really fun to be silly and wear costumes and have the act of trick-or-treating. So here is what my family does with all that chemical crap storm of sugar and food die wrapped in plastic and disguised as a reward. The switch witch comes. If you leave your candy outside then she will come and "switch" it for a toy. She Won't come until you want so you can keep it for a day or two and then put it out. If you don't like the term witch it could be a candy fairy instead. I know my kids are beyond thrilled that she comes and would highly prefer a toy over candy. In fact all three of them plan to put it out tonight after consuming a few select pieces. And I am prepped with a fun toy for each of them. And speaking of choices, think about what you are offering at your doorsrep. Not all offerings have to contain sugar. The dollar store has a selection of toys. stickers or mini travel sized notebooks. Juice boxes or water bottles are a nice refreshing welcome after a long walk! Who says you have to offer crap? If you do want to offer the candy thing perhaps think about companies that don't use GMO junk.
