Birth Day

15 years ago tonight I was in labor with my first child. This giant belly here was ready to pop and he finally arrived at 3 AM.

We always tell our kids their birth story every birthday. Do you tell yours?? The kids love it!! Plus, I want them to know labor can be beautiful and not a dramatic, screaming mother like in the movies.

Tomorrow he will wake up as a 15 year old young man. For now, we celebrate with his beautiful birth story. I am filled with such love right now as my body, mind and spirit relive that moment.
