As a parent nothing is more important than the health, confidence and happiness of your kids.
Education
In my household we have had much happiness and success using Waldorf education. We love how it supports and respects mother nature, organic and natural products, wooden toys, as well as waiting for the child's brain development to catch up with their age. Fresh air and the great outdoors is so healing. Seek out a trail, park or wooded area that you can explore with your kids. Traveling the uneven terrain is an excellent way for kids to learn safety, gain confidence and build muscles. Not to mention you give your brain a break from the noise of urban areas and the palpable energy of a bustling city. Kids can run in an open field and feel the wind blow their hair as they streak across the expansive earth. Did you know all 4th graders in the USA get free admission to all National Parks this 2016 school year?
Peace and Calming Essential Oil-a must in our house!
My family has a small obsession with Young Living's blend of Peace and Calming essential oil. We put it in our diffuser each night, rub it into our skin each morning AND I discovered if I put a few drops on the wool hair of my daughter's favorite stuffed dolly then the smell and it's effects linger for at least a week!
Teeth
Ever consider the ingredients in your kiddos toothpaste? Use caution with fake colors, fillers and irritating ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate. Xylitol is a natural sweetener that promotes oral health. Make sure you focus on that for baby's first toothpaste. Don't let your babies swallow fluoride toothpastes!
