❄️❄️❄️Day 9 DIY Holiday Gift Ideas ❄❄️❄️
Luxurious body lotion in a bar form! Body bars are great as you can just grab the firm lotion and glide across your body. So creamy and nourishing. Well worth the effort. Super cute to make a little body care basket of goodies. I would make a geranium body spritz (water, witch hazel and EO ), body sugar scrub, add a cute loofah or one of those wooden body dry brushes and pop this lotion bar in with a sweet handwritten note. This is NOT complicated and looks so pretty! I use Nutiva coconut oil and adore mango butter and shea butter for creaminess. Grab some organic beeswax pellets so they melt faster than a chunk of beeswax does. Grab vitamin E capsules or liquid comes in a nail polish type bottle. Target, whole foods and the pharmacy carry it. If you don't want to buy the silicone molds you can absolutely add the melted goods to a regular cupcake liner. You get your oils on your Young Living account. I love to use combos of oils like lavender and lemon, Frankincense and Elemi, Geranium and Melrose, Valor, Peace and Calming and a gentle Baby one is perfect for a pregnant friend!

Holiday scented room spray! Bring the holiday cheer smell minus the toxic chemicals Glade Air Fresheners pumps into you. Super cute to pair with a soft throw/blanket, coffee table book, fresh holiday wreath or make a trio of different sprays. I wanted to offer a DIY tip that requires zero kitchen skills. If you can Count to 10 then you can make this. Grab a spray bottle, water, witch hazel and your favorite scent of essential oil. Mix them together and you have an instant spray! The witch hazel is not absolutely necessary it just helps keep the essential oil and water from separating (oil and water separate). You can find it cheap ($2) at the grocery store, Target or pharmacy, although i saw it was $7 at CVS-insane. Add at least 1/4 of the bottle witch hazel the rest water. You can use this in the air, on your body, in your car, on your clothes, on your dog bed, on your couch, to cover kitchen odors, spritz the trashcan, as a linen spray... The list goes on. Don't waste your money on toxic spray cans of laboratory created chemicals that negatives affect your respiratory and nervous systems. Please. ❤️ I used my Christmas Spirit (yum!) oil to make this spray. Cute ideas on Pinterest too. 🐝🐥🐴🦄Soothing Baby Balm 🐸🐤🐰🐮 This balm is super nourishing and easy to make. You can just use olive oil without the dried calendula flowers in it. I've done that and it is still creamy and lovely. 🌼Calendula flowers are known to be amazing skin soothers. So to take your product a notch further towards amazingness, infuse dried organic calendula flowers and organic olive oil on your windowsill for at least a few weeks to a month. Think about all of those calendula baby products you see on the shelf. Butt balms and baby skin soothers. There's a reason that they put calendula in the baby products. On another note You could really use a different EO like lavender and Frank or Melrose and name it something like all-purpose salve, cuticle balm, cranky skin soother or gardener's skin relief. 🙊I think this would make an awesome gift for a pregnant friend or mom with a baby. You could pair it with a baby blanket, an outfit or an amber teething necklace!!!🐯 Ingredients needed: 1 cup calendula infused olive oil 1 TBSP mango or Shea butter 1 1/2 TBSP Beeswax pellets 20-30 drops of your favorite essential oil in this whole batch. I used 20 Gentle Baby drops which smells divine. Method: -Melt the beeswax in a double boiler or mason jar placed into a pot of water. Once melted add the Shea or mango butter and stir in the olive oil. Let it cool slightly then add chosen essential oil. -I like to stir with a wooden chopstick since it's easy to get and easy to dispose of. Respect the chemistry and gentle natural frequency of these beautiful oils and they will treat you right. Store on the countertop knowing all things without preservatives have a life expectancy. I would say this would be about 2-3 months or store in the fridge. Enjoy!❤️💞💞 Add a cute label, some ribbon or jute string and you have a handmade gift. I get this mango butter, shea butter. Grab beeswax pellets yellow will impart a bit of color or white wont. And of course you need dried organic calendual flowers. Of course you get the essential oil on your own Young Living account! ❄️❄️❄️Day 4 DIY Holiday Gift Ideas ❄️❄️❄️

Salt soak in a cute clear globe ornament. If you’re one of the 60 million Americans who has occasional or long-term sleep problems, you should try a Himalayan pink salt bath! The high mineral content allows you to hold in hydration and absorb those wonderful minerals into your body. Ever wonder why your skin doesn't wrinkle and prune up after a dip in the salty ocean?? A salt bath can especially help you relax and wind-down before bedtime. It can also help reduce inflammation, and therefore the pain, associated with arthritis and similar inflammatory conditions. Add some panaway and you have a party right there. Now another option is Epsom salts. They are named for a bitter saline spring located at Epsom in Surrey, England. Epsom is different than traditional salts in that it is actually a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate. These minerals have very powerful health benefits that can enhance the detoxification capabilities of salt. I prefer magnesium crystals or flakes and love the Ancient Minerals brand. Do NOT take a salt bath if you are pregnant, dehydrated, have heart or circulatory issues or have wide open wounds. I like to combine the 2 together for one awesome bath! However just Epsom or just pink salt or just magnesium is also perfectly acceptable. Add some ribbon or jute string, maybe a jingle bell and you have a handmade gift. Include a note about what you made and how to use it. See pic of bottles for the link to purchase ingredients on Amazon. Of course you get the essential oil on your own Young Living account! Children under 60 lbs: Add 1/2 cup of salts to a standard size bath Individuals between 60-100 lbs: Add 1 cup of salts to a standard size bath Individuals between 100-150 lbs: Add 1 1/2 cup of salts to a standard size bath Individuals between 150-200 lbs: Add 2 cups of salts to a standard size bath For every 50lbs larger - add in an additional 1/2 cup of salts ❄️❄️❄️Day 2 DIY Holiday Gift Ideas ❄️❄️❄️ Sleepy time cream and cute fuzzy socks! Did you know it can be insanely simple (and affordable) to make your own body cream? You can control the ingredients and even add your fragrance of choice! Here is a great one that you could label as sleepy time cream and encourage people to lather up before bedtime for some seriously rejuvenating Zzzzzzzzs. Package with cute fuzzy socks and tell your friend in a handwritten note to massage their feet before bedtime. Who doesn't have gross dry heels this time of year? Bonus that you sleep better while your feet get a drink. 💓 Ingredients needed: 1/2 cup shea butter 1/2 cup mango butter 1/4 cup coconut oil (refined won't have a scent) 4 oz grapeseed or sweet almond oil 1 teaspoon Vit E oil or open 2 capsules and squirt them in 20-30 drops of your favorite essential oil in this whole batch. Or if you want to make different scents then add cream to the jar and stir in 8-10 drops of chosen EO to each jar. I love 15 lavender and 15 cedarwood or 30 peace and calming. Method: -Melt the butters and coconut oil in a double boiler or mason jar placed into a pot of water -put the shea or mango butter into a big bowl. Sick in fridge until it starts to firm up. -grab your mixer and beat the mixture for a few minutes like you are making frosting. -pour in the grapeseed or sweet almond oil and Vit E. -whip with mixer until starts to soften then turn mixer to high and beat for AT LEAST 5 -7 minutes! It will whip up fluffy and smooth. -if it's too thick add more grapeseed oil. Too watery, add more coconut or shea butter. -stir the chosen EO in. DO not beat them in with the mixer so you respect their delicate nature. I do about 8-10 drops per container. -I like to stir with a wooden chopstick since it's easy to get and easy to dispose of. Respect the chemistry and gentle natural frequency of these beautiful oils and they will treat you right. Store on the countertop knowing all things without preservatives have a life expectancy. I would say this would be about 2-3 months. Enjoy!❤️💞💞 Add a cute label, some ribbon or jute string and you have a handmade gift.
