Anyone else obsessed with mason jars? I use them all the time to give gifts. @target sells bell jars, their drink lids and straws. Or snag some stainless straws to drink plastic-free. Include a few recipe ideas for fruit infused water and how much water you should drink.
💧 Speaking of that, You *should* drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces. Take your pounds number, divide in half and that is how many ounces YOU need. So make the water yummy! I use @younglivingeo vitality fruit oils to flavor my water. So guess what gets included in my mason jar gifts?! Day 2 of gift giving DIY ideas continues. Current mood-cozy. Loving this Peppermint hot Chocolate or is it hot cocoa? What do you call it?

Yep, It’s that time of year soon. I personally love to get handmade gifts. I tend to give them to others too. Think Teachers, coaches, coworkers, friends and family. Do you love homemade gifts or prefer a gift card? This household LOVES our local honey! From raw to unfiltered to creamy, the thick sticky deliciousness wins every time. I mean, look at that hue of colors! Ours range from Butter to caramel colored and I’m amazed how different it can all taste. Forget that plastic bear shaped bottle of thin, pale, wimpy goo, get yourself some REAL honey!
🐝 Think about this. Honey is the only insect created food with therapeutic, nutritional, medicinal and cosmetic benefit. 🐝 In order to produce 1 pound of honey, 2 million flowers must be visited. An average worker bee makes only about 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in its lifetime! 🐝 I use local honey in the Fire Cider elixir I make, to sweeten my tea, in a yogurt honey facial mask to soften my skin, over minor cuts and scrapes and as a honey bomb to swallow Thieves vitality essential oil when we don’t feel well! One question I always get is “are oils safe for babies?” My answer is...”the right ones are”. Watch your brands so you aren’t using glorified room fragrance.
👶🏻 I trust Young Living ones as they have a seed to seal guarantee of purity. 3 of my favs are lavender, frankincense and gentle baby oil. Just a drop of one oil mixed with coconut oil then give them a body massage and rub on their toes. If they are brand new wee one then their skin will be sensitive to everything! Just have mamma rub it on her chest and the baby can benefit from the relaxing smell when being held without it being ON their skin! 👶🏻 You can pop a few drops in the diffuser too to calm those cranky babes. Works like a charm! Grab your oils with my referral #2251897 and I can offer you many more Dr Mom tips. The crash after the rush. Sugar drags down your immune system. Ever notice how about a week after Halloween your kid gets sick?
🎃 We welcome the switch witch at our house. She comes at night and takes their giant candy bag and “switches” it with a present. Oh yeah, it’s for real and it WORKS! Bye bye candy, cavities and dipped immune systems and hello happy kid who gets something they really want. Nothing huge or expensive, just a fun toy or object they have been wanting. #brilliantidea #momwin #drheidiwellnesstips #goawaycandy #switchwitch #waldorfmom |
