Who else picks a word for the year? What’s that you ask? Forget New Year’s Resolutions! Pick a word to focus on instead.
✨ Choose just one word. One word you can focus on every day, all year long. One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live or need to focus on. How you frame your thoughts and use that word as a compass that directs your decisions and guides your steps. My word sounds awfully selfish but let me explain. My word is NO. I say NO to myself all the time. I rarely tell others NO. I was always taught to be kind and helpful to others. I guess I just took it to the extreme. That inability to say NO has made me the go-to person for people to count on. I rarely, if ever, let other people down. That’s great BUT I ruined it by not balancing it with things that I need to do for me. So this is the year I MUST allow time for my mental and physical healing. ❌ So I promised myself that every day when I’m asked to do something my knee-jerk response won’t be YES but rather let me get back to you. That gives me room to analyze how it will affect me and my family. Wish me luck! No, actually, call me out on it instead.

What are you baking? We are making cookies for santa (I heard molasses are her....Er, his fav), olive bread, keto cheesecake, buffalo cauliflower rice dip, soups and quiche.
I just paid to have a heart attack every 15 minutes when the wave pool ramps up.
🌊🌊 On another note, thanks to science it’s actually pretty cool to be able to hold my 100 lb kid on my hip like I did when he was a baby. He even humored me and rested his head on my shoulder. My chiropractic office is always on the search for a CBD oil, cream, salve or tincture that actually works. One that HELPS our patients suffering. One that is PURE and that we trust the source. I don’t want plants sprayed with pesticides that I then rub on my kids or add a drop under my tongue. 🤢🤢
